Sai Nath University Observes International Yoga Day with a Health-Centric Awareness Program
Ranchi, June 2026: Sai Nath University, Ranchi, celebrated International Yoga Day with a special health-focused program aimed at promoting physical well-being, mental peace, and holistic development among students, faculty members, and staff. The event was organized to spread awareness about the importance of yoga in maintaining a balanced and healthy lifestyle.
The program was inaugurated by the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. (Dr.) S.P. Agrawal, through the ceremonial lighting of the lamp. Addressing the gathering, he emphasized that yoga is not merely a form of physical exercise but a complete philosophy of life that helps individuals achieve mental peace, good health, self-discipline, and concentration.
The main session featured a group yoga practice conducted under the guidance of experienced yoga instructors. Participants enthusiastically performed various yoga postures, meditation techniques, and breathing exercises, including Anulom-Vilom and Kapalbhati. The session highlighted the physical, mental, and spiritual benefits of regular yoga practice.
The event witnessed active participation from students, faculty members, and university staff, all of whom appreciated the initiative and its positive impact on health and wellness. The university also expressed its commitment to organizing similar wellness-oriented programs regularly to encourage a healthy and mindful lifestyle within the campus community.
