If you short a stock which is not included in F&O segment and if that stock hits upper circuits before inter day square off time and continue to be in upper circuit till that square off time then you will not get any buyer to neutralize your position. What will happen after then , it would not be a good news for you. Your out-standing stocks will be auctioned and you have to pay a hefty penalty for that and you will repent for it.
